When you have decided upon your chosen venue, Calder will formally confirm with the venue, clearly outlining the finer details of your event.
We can also assist in the detailed organisation and administration of your event, and will be pleased to liaise directly with your chosen venue.
After you have confirmed, your chosen venue will usually expect you to sign a contract to guarantee the booking. Calder has preferential Terms with a large portfolio of providers that are beneficial to our customers in many ways, not least being reduced cancellation notice periods and charges based on profit loss as opposed to price paid.
Once an agreement is reached on the contractual terms, we will endeavour to negotiate modified terms and conditions with them - this helps should you need to postpone, amend or cancel the event in the future. Our association with the HBAA and MIA, means we can utilise our membership status to achieve, at the very least, the minimum terms generally adopted as industry standard.
When we feel confident that the terms and conditions being implemented are satisfactory, we will advise the venue to raise a contract with you.
